This cute tee for tall girls comes to us from This ‘n’That and is part of our T-Shirt Designer’s Choice series where the t-shirt designer shares the inspiration for their creation.
“I knew by the time she was 3 or 4 that my daughter was going to pass me in height, and at 5′ 7″ I’m not a short woman. So I wanted to make a t-shirt that reflected positively on tall girls and women, and who’s the tallest, most famous, most recognizable woman around? Lady Liberty, of course! I added the “Tall Girls Rock!” caption and made the shirt. My daughter is now 14, and has owned this shirt in several different sizes. She finally did pass me up last Christmas – that was the gift she enjoyed most; she still loves measuring herself against me in a mirror! I have a second daughter, age 6, and she has her own “Tall Girls Rock” t-shirt, because she is easily going to be as tall as her older sister!” ~This ‘n’ That Shop
